For many years, I created art in the windowless environments of a basement, garage and an industrial warehouse. As the business grew quickly in the early 90’s, I reached the “fork in the road” between small manufacturing or a home based business with flexibility for raising a family.
Deciding on the latter, we moved to a wooded acre in Eagle River valley. In 2007, I demolished the dreary garage studio and built a bright, spacious studio with high ceilings and many large windows.
Creative inspiration seeps in through the windows and plays with my thoughts while hiking in the stunningly beautiful Chugach Mountains that rim the valley. To be so lucky!
